Partnering For Life: Affirming Health and Well-Being
Through Cancer Awareness
Partnering for Life is a project of the American Cancer Society that aims to bring awareness to churches and faith organizations of the growing rates of cancer in the African American community. The project works directly with African American church leaders to address the burden of cancer in the community through educational and awareness activities. Partnering for Life takes a holistic approach that engages mind, body, and spirit in the fight against cancer. For more information about this project or to help someone
with their fight against cancer, contact your local American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345 or www.cancer.org.
